Poster session

Registered participants of the QT4HEP22 conference are welcome to submit posters sharing expertise and practices at various stages of understanding and familiarisation with Quantum Science and Technologies. Selected posters will be showcased over three days of the event (1-3 November), with the poster session taking place on 2 November during the networking part of the conference.
Following the vote by participants attending the conference, the best posters will be announced and acknowledged at the end of the 3d day of the event (on 3 November).

Abstract submission:

If you would like to have your poster displayed during the QT4HEP22 conference, please submit your abstract by 15 October, 23:59 CET, using the online submission form.
The selection panel of the conference committee will consider all abstracts received and make a decision based on both scientific quality and practical implications.
There is a predetermined upper limit of posters that can be accepted for the conference.

Poster session:

If your abstract is selected for a poster display at the conference, we will contact you in due time via e-mail provided during the registration for the event. Please note that it is your responsibility to print out the poster and bring it with you to the conference.
The poster session will take place on 2 November during the networking session of the event (starting at around 18:30 CET).

Please take into account the following general guidelines for your poster presentation:

Content

Be sure to include the following elements in your poster:

  • The title.
  • Author(s) name(s).
  • Author's affiliation.

We also recommend that you include the following elements in the body of your poster:

  • A brief background of your project and your primary goals.
    Methods used and results obtained.
  • A discussion of your findings and conclusions.
  • Tables and figures.

Format

Poster size: We allow for posters up to A0 in size – we would strongly encourage you not to go for less than A1.  
Poster orientation: portrait (recommended).
Text: use bullets and keep text to a minimum.
Titles and Fonts: Titles and captions should be short and easy to read. The minimum font size for all text is 18 pt.
Illustrations: Figures should be designed to be viewed from a distance and should use clear, visible graphics and large type. Each figure or table should have a heading of one or two lines.
